About The Ahsram

Conceived as the first international center for MCKS' Arhatic Yoga and Pranic Healing, the Ashram will combine the comforts of a home and an exclusive environment in which Arhatic Yogis can learn, practice and grow. The modern Ashram is spread over nearly sixty acres of scenic land amongst the hills and valleys of the Western Ghats, at Mulshi near Pune in Maharashtra.

The Ashram has been designed as a self-contained project with well-defined and separate areas for spiritual practice, common utilities and a residential area for approximately 100 studio apartments that will provide comfort and privacy and promote fellowship among like-minded Arhatic Yogis and their families.
The comfortable-sized studio apartment includes a spacious room with a verandah at the entrance, a kitchen and a bathroom; with an attached open-air area for a lawn or a garden. The fixtures and amenities encourage comfort and self-sufficiency.

The common utilities include water supply (from reservoirs and bore wells), waste disposal facility and electricity. A shopping area and the administration unit will be located at the entrance to the Ashram area, ensuring security as well as easy availability of daily necessities. Pathways and walkways will connect the studio apartments and also lead to mini parks, gardens and to the exclusive spiritual area.

The spiritual area will consist of a large meditation hall, smaller meditation rooms, an adjacent area for physical exercise, a large library, workshop rooms and with plenty of open space for gardens, landscaping, viewing points, and simply to be with oneself. Classroom and workshop teachings, guided meditations and regular practice will accelerate progress along the path as an Arhatic Yogi; and, of course, one can always take a quiet holiday with the family in one's home in the serene sylvan surroundings of that exclusive residential area.
